Sustainable and environmentally
responsible products
We believe in sustainability, good design and products that are built to last.
At The Business Supplies Group, we take a lot of time to make sure we find and supply the most sustainable and environmentally responsible products that we can find. From the plywood in desks to the knitted fabrics in chairs, our manufacturing partners make sure that responsible sourcing of each and every part of a product will help to give back to the planet.
Responsible sourcing and recycling
Our manufacturing partners go to every length to make sure that material is not wasted. Take for instance the i-Workchair 2.0, it uses an innovative 3D Knitted seat cover made from recycled plastic yarns that means less waste material with every cushion created. This helps to reduce waste and create a more sustainable and eco-friendly range.
Using materials that last.
By using fewer virgin materials in products and using off-cuts throughout the manufacturing process, it allows material to be reused and put back into new products. In addition, using recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible, creates a more efficient and sustainable life cycle for furniture.
For example, Allemuirs products celebrate the look and feel of recycled products, with the Axyl chair being a prime example. The recycled content within the chair gives it a unique speckled finish.

Tree Planting – Yonder Oak Wood
A successful day was had at Yonder Oak Wood, Devon, with a group of our green fingered colleagues, headed by Rebecca and Julian, taking part in the first Carbon Capture tree planting day for 2023.
The day commenced with a demonstration by The Woodland Trust ‘how to most effectively plant trees’, resulting in an incredible 600 Saplings proudly planted.
