The customer wanted to transform two areas to be used for distinctly different reasons.
Firstly, a flexible botanical area to welcome new customers to the Fred Olsen experience. Secondly a breakout area to give their staff an experience of a Fred Olsen Ship.
Project Overview:
The Design
A flexible botanical design with hanging flora, folding tables, integrated technology options and bespoke storage modules with integral acoustic insulation panels. We took inspiration for the ships lounge straight out of Fred Oslen’s ships and the design includes arcade machines, plants and storage walls.
The Look
A ceiling mounted grid holds pendant lights and hung flora, complimented by a live moss wall with TV’s. Green and oak cupboards and tables combine with the yellow and green chairs to give a real natural feel. The ships lounge uses chesterfield sofas, wingback chairs and easy lounge chairs to provide a relaxing and calm breakout area. We supplied and fitted the same carpet used on the Fred Olsen ships and provided dual storage options to each side, arcade games, plants and tables to really help lift the area.
The Result
A dual zone refurbishment, that gives two very different aspects, a light and modern customer meeting area with hung flora and live moss wall, and a ships lounge with a range of classically styled furniture. Two well thought out designs creating two areas for different needs.
